Have a wonderful TRANSgiving Day while you are giving thanks

Transgender people have so much of which to be thankful. We work very hard at becoming our authentic selves regardless of the outcome. There are so many people who cannot say the same.
We are thankful for the support from our families and friends knowing we might lose everything when we tell the truth to our loved ones.
We are thankful for our ancestors who paved the way for us. They found a way to live their lives as authentic people and some paid dearly with their own lives.
We are thankful for all those who have selflessly worked as advocates and activists.
We are thankful for the "Mathew Shepard and James Byrd, Jr Hate Crimes Law. We have been finaly recognized as people by the United States.
TRANSgiving Day is every day by paying forward all the above to those who are still struggling with their gender identity, to those who live in the margins of homelessness, violence, poverty and hatred and for those who have not yet been born.
There are many more things I have not listed. Please feel free to comment with your thoughts. Have a safe and happy holiday.
